Preventing and Addressing Racism in Schools

At Koroit and District Primary School, racism has no place.
We respect and celebrate all cultures, ethnicities, and faiths.

Together, we ensure that our school remains a space free from racism, where everyone feels respected, supported, and able to learn in a safe and inclusive environment.

Koroit and District PS follows the Department of Education’s Preventing and Addressing Racism in Schools Policy. We are building a culturally safe school with inclusive learning for everyone by working with our wider community and families.

At Koroit and District Primary School, we are proud to be part of the Anti-Racism Campaign. Our goal is to ensure every student feels safe, respected, and valued.

Koroit and District Primary School:

  • Celebrating diversity through programs that promote inclusion, empathy, and understanding of the impacts of racism.
  • Supporting every student to thrive with teaching and school practices that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Taking action against racism by preventing and addressing it through effective anti-racism strategies.
  • Keeping our school safe with clear and accessible pathways for reporting racism.
