Foundation Entry Assessment
The purpose of the Assessment is to primarily get to know your child and their interests. It is also an opportunity to strengthen teacher/student relationships. The tasks your child will engage in are fun and interactive and are designed to assist teachers in gathering information about your child’s literacy and numeracy understandings. This information will help us design and provide the very best teaching and learning experiences to cater for the individual needs of your child.
We will make individual times with each Foundation child at the beginning of term 1, 2025, Parent presence is not required during the assessment, however, parents are welcome to stay if it will make your child feel more comfortable. The teacher will provide you with feedback following the assessment.
